Position: SQL Database Administrator
Compensation: $100,000 – $130,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled SQL Database Administrator to join their team!
This is a fantastic direct hire opportunity for a DBA who enjoys keeping critical systems running smoothly and making a real impact behind the scenes. You’ll support a growing technology team, work with modern database environments, and help ensure reliable performance across production systems. This role was opened due to growth, offering a chance to step into an expanding team with strong long-term potential.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Monitor and maintain production databases.
- Perform troubleshooting, upgrades, and installations.
- Manage backups and restore processes.
- Support database replication activities.
- Assist with change management and system maintenance.
- Help developers with data modeling needs.
- Support large-scale database architecture design.
- Ensure database systems run reliably and efficiently.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- At least 3 years of professional SQL DBA experience.
- Strong Microsoft SQL or PostgreSQL experience.
- Advanced SQL skills, including stored procedures.
- Experience with distributed database processing.
- Experience with database replication.
- Background supporting large-scale systems.
- Linux knowledge.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- PostgreSQL expertise.
- Experience designing production-grade database architecture.
- Background supporting application data modeling.
- Experience in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
- Exposure to iterative development processes.
- Experience with database upgrades and installs.
