Position: Director of Tax
Compensation: $185,000 – $215,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Full Remote
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Director of Tax to join their team!
This is a high-impact opportunity for a tax leader who thrives in a hands-on, strategic environment. In this role, you’ll own key areas of domestic and international tax compliance, income tax provision, and tax planning while partnering closely with executive leadership and external advisors. It’s an excellent chance to step into a visible role where your expertise will directly support tax strategy, entity optimization, and cross-border business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Lead domestic and international tax planning initiatives
- Prepare and review federal, state, and foreign tax filings
- Oversee extensions, estimates, and tax compliance deliverables
- Manage the income tax provision and ASC 740 reporting
- Support transfer pricing policies and intercompany agreements
- Assist with tax strategy for M&A and entity structuring
- Respond to tax inquiries from internal business teams
- Support federal, state, local, and foreign tax audits
- Oversee property tax returns and related filings
- Partner with external auditors and tax advisors
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- CPA required
- 10+ years of corporate tax experience required
- Background in public accounting and multinational corporate tax
- Hands-on federal corporate tax return preparation and review
- Experience with international information returns
- Hands-on ASC 740 provision preparation and review
- Experience with state income and franchise tax returns
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Corptax or OneSource
- Background in legal entity optimization
- Experience with cross-border transactions
- Exposure to cash repatriation planning
- Transfer pricing experience
- M&A tax experience
- Exposure to tax audits and controversy work
- Experience supporting multinational tax operations
