Position: Solutions Engineer- Ecommerce
Compensation: $ 8000 – 103000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Houston, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Solutions Engineer- Ecommerce to join their team!
This is a high-impact opportunity to help design smarter warehouse solutions for ecommerce customers. In this role, you’ll work across operations, IT, real estate, and other internal teams to shape facility layouts, optimize workflows, and support pricing decisions that directly affect customer success. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, collaborating across functions, and bringing practical warehouse solutions to life.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Design warehouse layouts and operational workflows for customer solutions
- Analyze fulfillment processes from intake through final shipment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on space and process planning
- Support pricing by factoring labor and operational costs
- Create proposals for customer-facing solution recommendations
- Evaluate automation, robotics, and material handling options
- Use AutoCAD to support design and layout development
- Manage multiple projects and shifting priorities effectively
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience using AutoCAD
- Background in warehousing or distribution operations
- Experience redesigning existing warehouse layouts
- Knowledge of warehouse workflows and facility layouts
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with warehouse slotting strategies
- Familiarity with automation and robotics technologies
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Experience with simulation or modeling software
- Background in reverse logistics or kitting operations
- Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or Smartsheet
- Experience with greenfield solutions design
