Position: Mechanical Engineer II
Compensation: $85,000 – $115,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Houston, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Mechanical Engineer II to join their team!
This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to exciting R&D and product development work for electromechanical products. You’ll be part of a collaborative engineering team focused on design, testing, validation, and product improvement. This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys seeing ideas move from concept to real-world implementation.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems.
- Create 3D and 2D CAD models in SolidWorks.
- Support product testing and validation efforts.
- Collaborate with electrical and manufacturing teams.
- Improve existing products through design updates.
- Participate in new product development projects.
- Document technical work and design results clearly.
- Contribute to cross-functional engineering discussions.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 2–4 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
- Strong SolidWorks experience with 3D and 2D CAD.
- Experience with GD&T.
- Background in product testing and validation.
- R&D or product development experience.
- Ability to work onsite in Houston, Texas.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with instrumentation products.
- Electromechanical product design experience.
- Medical device experience.
- Manufacturing experience.
- Energy or oil and gas industry exposure.
- New product development experience.
- Experience improving existing products.
