Position: Lead Analytics Engineer/BI Architect
Compensation: $130,000 – $140,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Hemsptead, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Lead Analytics Engineer/BI Architect to join their team!
This is a high-impact opportunity for a hands-on BI leader who can turn business questions into trusted analytics solutions. In this role, you’ll help shape the semantic layer, strengthen certified metrics, and build scalable Power BI solutions that support confident decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Design and maintain enterprise semantic models and gold-layer marts.
- Develop certified metrics and trusted financial reporting solutions.
- Build and optimize advanced Power BI dashboards and datasets.
- Write complex SQL and PySpark for analytics and transformation work.
- Translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions.
- Partner with leaders to define KPIs and metric calculations.
- Support data governance, lineage, and documentation standards.
- Improve performance for large-scale analytics workloads.
- Mentor teams on BI architecture and modeling best practices.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of business intelligence or data analytics experience.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
- Hands-on knowledge of semantic modeling and dimensional modeling.
- Advanced SQL skills for data analysis and transformation.
- Experience with Delta Lake and Apache Spark.
- Understanding of ETL and data warehousing concepts.
- Strong communication skills for business stakeholder collaboration.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Snowflake and Azure SQL.
- Knowledge of workspace governance and capacity planning.
- Background in data quality frameworks and metadata management.
- Experience supporting financial reporting initiatives.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery environments.
- Power BI certification or advanced DAX expertise.
