Position: Control Design Engineer
Compensation: $85,000 – $100,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Control Design Engineer to join their team!
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing manufacturing environment where your panel design expertise will directly support a wide range of industrial projects. As demand continues to increase, this role offers the chance to contribute to new headcount and play a key part in designing electrical control panels used across diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Design electrical control panels for internal and OEM projects
- Create 2D wiring schematics and bills of materials
- Read customer requirements and develop matching panel circuitry
- Support sales, procurement, and production teams as needed
- Provide clarification during customer fact-finding calls
- Assist during commissioning and customer communication
- Balance multiple projects at the same time
- Help identify practical solutions for technical needs
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 3+ years of panel design experience
- Experience reading and creating wiring diagrams
- Strong understanding of electrical wiring and component integration
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Effective communication skills in a team environment
- Knowledge of NEC code
- Experience with electric motor control circuits and VFD programming
- Associate degree or BS in Engineering, or equivalent experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- UL508A, UL698A, or UL1203 knowledge
- Experience with CAD wiring diagram software
- SolidWorks experience
- PLC programming experience
- Embedded systems programming experience
- Hands-on electrical troubleshooting background
- Prior experience in industrial manufacturing environments

Other Information:
- Based in a manufacturing facility in Tulsa, OK
- Works on projects across water treatment, oil and gas, and data centers
- Occasional travel to other locations and customer sites
- Travel is expected to be less than 10 days per year
- The team is willing to train the right candidate on UL code requirements
- Open due to business growth and increased demand
