Position: Assistant Construction Project Manager
Compensation: $75,000 – $85,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Assistant Construction Project Manager to join their team!
This is an exciting opportunity to support a busy construction project team across multiple active projects. You’ll play a key role in coordinating schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and project documentation while helping keep work moving forward smoothly from pre-construction through closeout. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Support pre-construction planning, budgets, and bid packages
- Review scopes and costs for accuracy
- Coordinate subcontractors throughout active projects
- Manage submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs
- Attend, lead, and document project meetings
- Track costs, changes, and project schedules
- Partner with superintendents on quality and safety
- Support closeout activities and turnover documentation
- Maintain organized project records and communications
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 3–5 years of construction project experience
- Experience supporting project management functions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with project management software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with commercial construction projects
- Familiarity with subcontract agreements
- Knowledge of value engineering processes
- Exposure to closeout and turnover procedures
- Comfort working directly with clients and design teams
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
