Position: General Ledger Systems Manager
Compensation: $ 130000 – 14000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma OR Longview, TX
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled General Ledger Systems Manager to join their team!
This is an exciting opportunity for an accounting systems professional who enjoys improving processes, strengthening controls, and driving efficiency across finance operations. In this role, you’ll serve as the functional owner of General Ledger systems, partnering closely with Accounting, IT, and leadership to support financial reporting, close activities, and ERP initiatives. With a strong mix of systems ownership, process improvement, and cross-functional project work, this position offers real impact and visibility.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Own General Ledger-related ERP functionality and financial master data
- Maintain chart of accounts and financial hierarchy governance
- Resolve system issues affecting accounting operations and reporting
- Lead process improvement and automation initiatives
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
- Partner on ERP upgrades, enhancements, and implementations
- Coordinate UAT, issue resolution, and change validation
- Support SOX compliance, controls, and audit requests
- Collaborate across Accounting, IT, FP&A, Tax, and Internal Audit
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
- 5+ years of relevant accounting, financial systems, or process improvement experience
- Experience supporting month-end close and financial reporting
- Experience leading cross-functional projects or system implementations
- ERP experience required
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls
- Ability to influence stakeholders without direct reporting authority
- Effective communication and project management skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- CPA, CMA, MBA, or similar professional certification
- Public accounting experience
- SAP S/4HANA experience
- SOX-regulated environment experience
- Experience with automation and process optimization
- Background in financial system integrations
- Familiarity with reporting tools and Microsoft Office
