Position: Accounting Administrator, Purchase Cards
Compensation: $58,000 – $62,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Houston, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Accounting Administrator, Purchase Cards to join their team!
This is a fantastic direct hire opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, Excel, and detail-driven accounting support. You’ll play a key role on a collaborative GL team, helping keep purchase card activity accurate, organized, and reconciled while supporting broader accounting operations. It’s a strong entry point for someone looking to build a long-term career in accounting with room to grow.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Support purchase card activity and related general ledger tasks
- Compare bank statements and Excel reports for discrepancies
- Validate large data sets and identify missing or incorrect transactions
- Work extensively in Excel and Coupa
- Assist with reconciliations and data cleanup
- Partner with the GL team on day-to-day accounting support
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables
- Ability to compare and analyze large data sets
- High attention to detail
- Comfort working in a data-heavy environment
- Ability to identify discrepancies and validate information
- Willingness to learn accounting processes
- Associate degree or relevant experience preferred
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Accounts payable experience
- Background in accounting or finance
- Experience with Coupa
- Familiarity with reconciliations
- Exposure to general ledger processes
- Accounting degree
