Position: Senior Accountant
Compensation: $85,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Overland Park, KS
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Accountant to join their team!
This is a strong opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys client interaction, hands-on work, and a collaborative office environment. You’ll support tax return review, communicate with clients and external agencies as needed, and contribute to a growing team that values strong interpersonal skills and a team-first approach.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Review tax returns and support accurate client deliverables
- Communicate directly with clients in a professional manner
- Assist with IRS-related conversations when needed
- Support public accounting and tax season work
- Collaborate with office staff and leadership
- Contribute to a positive, client-focused team environment
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 3+ years of public accounting or tax season experience
- Active CPA or EA license (will pay more)
- Strong client-facing communication skills
- Experience reviewing tax returns
- Comfort speaking with the IRS when required
- Willingness to work onsite initially
- Currently active in public accounting or tax
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Supervisor or senior staff experience
- Interest in growing into a management role
- Experience in a collaborative client service setting
