Position: Senior Cloud Systems Engineer
Compensation: $60 – $70/hr, depending on experience
Location: North Kansas City, Missouri
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Cloud Systems Engineer to join their team!
This is a strong opportunity for a hands-on infrastructure professional who enjoys supporting a broad systems environment while owning key cloud responsibilities. You’ll step into a high-impact role focused on backup, storage, virtualization, and Azure support, helping keep critical systems running smoothly and supporting ongoing expansion.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Support backup, storage, and virtualization infrastructure
- Administer and maintain Azure environments
- Help expand the organization’s Azure footprint
- Assist with disaster recovery and business continuity efforts
- Support VMware architecture and virtualization needs
- Collaborate with the Systems Engineering team on infrastructure projects
- Troubleshoot and resolve systems issues across the environment
- Contribute to cloud and infrastructure improvements
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong systems engineering or infrastructure background
- Experience supporting backup, storage, and virtualization environments
- Hands-on Azure administration or support experience
- VMware experience in a production environment
- Working knowledge of disaster recovery concepts
- Comfortable serving as a systems-focused engineer with cloud responsibilities
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Cohesity experience
- Pure Storage experience
- Azure migration or expansion experience
- VCDR experience
- Senior-level infrastructure architecture exposure
- Experience in a broad enterprise systems environment
