Position: Sales Tax Accountant
Compensation: $70,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Sales Tax Accountant to join their team!
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a fast-paced tax environment where your work directly supports compliance across multiple jurisdictions. You’ll join an established team with room to grow, and strong performers may be considered for a senior-level path based on experience.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Prepare and file monthly sales and use tax returns
- Support unclaimed property and business tax reporting
- Handle sales and use tax audits across multiple jurisdictions
- Communicate with state and local tax authorities
- Assist with special tax-related projects as needed
- Ensure filings are accurate and submitted on time
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 1–3 years of sales and use tax compliance experience
- Knowledge of multi-state sales and use tax processes
- Understanding of transactional taxes and related challenges
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a self-starter mindset
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Excel
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Retail sales tax compliance experience
- Exposure to high-volume, multi-jurisdiction tax environments
- Interest in growing into a senior-level role
- Prior audit support experience

- Onsite schedule: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
