Position: Technical Business Analyst
Compensation: $45 – 53 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Overland Park, KS
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Technical Business Analyst to join their team!
This is a strong opportunity for a technically versatile professional who enjoys connecting business needs with smart system design. In this role, you’ll help shape how internal systems work, improve documentation, and support strategic upgrades across a growing technology environment.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Partner with business teams to gather and clarify requirements
- Document workflows, processes, and system behavior clearly
- Translate business needs into technical system requirements
- Create and maintain system diagrams and support documentation
- Analyze existing systems and identify improvement opportunities
- Support issue resolution through root-cause analysis
- Collaborate with technical teams on solution design and delivery
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders
- Contribute to system security and process improvements
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience in a combined business analysis and technical role
- Ability to read and understand existing code
- Strong understanding of programming logic and OOP fundamentals
- Experience with SQL and/or PL/SQL
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work across technical and non-technical audiences
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with React.js
- Background in both development and business analysis
- Experience documenting current-state and future-state systems
- Familiarity with systems architecture or technical documentation
