Position: Logistics Coordinator
Compensation: $ 25 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Houston, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join their team!
This is a great contract opportunity for a logistics professional who enjoys keeping operations moving efficiently. In this role, you’ll support day-to-day coordination across accounts, shipments, documentation, and service provider relationships while helping maintain a smooth, customer-focused supply chain environment.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Oversee daily activity for assigned customer accounts
- Coordinate shipments, delivery timelines, and inventory issues
- Prepare and route purchase orders and bills of lading
- Monitor costs, productivity, and operational performance
- Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally
- Support internal teams with supply chain and business needs
- Track service provider performance and resolve issues
- Maintain accurate internal system records
- Analyze workflows to improve service efficiency
- Assist with pricing discussions as needed
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 2+ years of logistics, dispatch, freight, or transportation experience
- Account management and customer service experience
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience using logistics software
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Degree in business administration, logistics, or related field
- Experience with ERP systems
- Background in production or transportation support
- Experience analyzing operational KPIs
- Ability to support cross-functional teams
