Position: OT Network Engineer
Compensation: $52 – $75 /hour, depending on experience
Location: San Antonio, Texas or Findlay, Ohio
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled OT Network Engineer to join their team!
This is a strong opportunity for a network professional who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges and improving performance across critical environments. You’ll support a dynamic team focused on building resilient, secure, and efficient network systems while contributing to meaningful projects with broad operational impact.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure
- Monitor performance and resolve network outages
- Support network optimization and resilience improvements
- Troubleshoot local and wide area network issues
- Implement and enforce network security policies
- Manage switches, routers, firewalls, and related systems
- Collaborate on system standards and installation efforts
- Analyze traffic and investigate connectivity problems
- Support upgrades and ongoing network enhancements
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong experience with routing protocols, including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP
- Hands-on knowledge of SD-WAN technologies
- Advanced use of SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, subnets, VLANs, and routing
- Experience configuring switches, routers, and firewalls
- Knowledge of VPNs, network segmentation, and intrusion detection or prevention systems
- Familiarity with Windows Server administration practices
- Experience with patch management, firewall configuration, and access control
- Ability to troubleshoot network issues and optimize performance
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with network optimization initiatives
- Background supporting secure infrastructure environments
- Ability to collaborate with network architects
- Experience handling multi-site or regional network support
