Position: Staff Accountant
Compensation: $27 – $35 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Staff Accountant to join their team!
This is a strong opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys hands-on work in billing, reconciliations, reporting, and customer-facing problem solving. You’ll support a specialized Joint Use program in a regulated environment where accuracy, communication, and attention to detail truly matter. The role offers the chance to work with cross-functional teams, help improve processes, and contribute to meaningful financial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Perform accounting activities for billing, receivables, and reconciliations
- Prepare journal entries, reports, schedules, and supporting documentation
- Research discrepancies and help resolve accounting differences
- Review invoices and verify financial data for accuracy
- Support credit balances, overdue balances, and payment tracking
- Apply cost allocation and reimbursement structures
- Partner with internal teams to resolve accounting and billing issues
- Communicate with external representatives regarding balances and documentation
- Assist with audits, financial reporting, and compliance support
- Identify process improvements and strengthen financial controls
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years of directly related experience
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience using SAP
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
- Solid knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Regulatory or compliance-related accounting experience
- Experience with customer-facing accounting support
- Background in reconciliations or collections
- Experience in rate validation or reimbursement work
- Exposure to joint use or utility accounting processes
