Position: EAM Specialist
Compensation: $40 – $50 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Houston, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled EAM Specialist to join their team!
This is a unique opportunity to step into a newly discussed role supporting asset accounting and title-related EAM processes. You’ll work closely with operational teams to review assets, prepare journal entries, and help resolve inventory questions in a fast-moving environment. If you enjoy digging into variances, solving problems, and working with Excel and JDE, this could be a great fit.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Review asset reports and process items in the pipeline
- Prepare journal entries in JDE
- Investigate variances and resolve accounting issues
- Support fixed asset and property accounting tasks
- Build and use Excel pivot tables for analysis
- Troubleshoot inventory questions with field users
- Work through issues proactively and independently
- Maintain clear communication with internal teams
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience in property accounting or a related accounting field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to investigate discrepancies and explain findings
- Proficiency with Excel pivot tables
- Comfort working in JDE or similar ERP systems
- Strong interpersonal and troubleshooting skills
- Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Fixed asset accounting experience
- Technical accounting background
- Experience supporting field or operational users
- Experience working with journal entries and reconciliations
