Position: Sr IT Project Manager
Compensation: $120,000 – $140,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Full Remote
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Sr IT Project Manager to join their team!
This is a high-impact opportunity to lead banking technology initiatives from idea to go-live. You’ll own projects end to end, partner with vendors and internal teams, and help drive thoughtful, efficient delivery across a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Lead banking technology projects from intake through post-launch review
- Build project plans with tasks, timelines, owners, and dependencies
- Run kickoffs, status meetings, and working sessions with stakeholders
- Manage vendor implementations, upgrades, and conversions through go-live
- Document requirements, process flows, and acceptance criteria clearly
- Coordinate UAT, cutover planning, training, and launch readiness
- Control scope and manage formal change requests effectively
- Track risks, escalate issues early, and recommend solutions
- Partner with engineering on integrations, APIs, and technical solutions
- Keep project documentation current, organized, and audit-ready
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ years of project management experience in banking or financial services technology
- Experience leading third-party vendor implementations to go-live
- Hands-on experience with core banking systems
- Strong knowledge of banking operations and products
- Understanding of deposits, lending, payments, and digital banking
- Working knowledge of compliance concepts, including BSA/AML and Reg E
- Strong business analysis skills, including discovery and requirements gathering
- Comfort discussing APIs, integrations, data flows, and configuration
- Confident communicator who holds teams and vendors accountable

- Core conversion experience
- Digital banking implementation experience
- Loan origination system experience
- Agile delivery experience
- Azure DevOps, SharePoint, Jira, or GitHub Projects experience
- Exposure to automation, data platforms, or AI use cases
