Position: Technical Program Manager- Finance
Compensation: $ 120000 – 180000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Houston, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Technical Program Manager- Finance to join their team!
This is a high-impact opportunity to help shape the future of finance technology across billing, invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial close. You’ll work closely with Finance, Engineering, and Data teams to streamline operations, improve visibility, and reduce manual effort through smart automation and thoughtful system design.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Own the finance technology roadmap across key operational workflows
- Map current-state processes and identify automation opportunities
- Partner with Finance teams to gather requirements and improve workflows
- Design future-state SOPs and validate concepts with stakeholders
- Support ERP and operational system integration efforts
- Drive automation for invoicing, onboarding, and cost accruals
- Track KPIs such as invoice accuracy, DSO, and days to close
- Lead rollout, adoption, and change management activities
- Ensure financial controls, audit trails, and engineering standards are followed
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 10+ years of technical program or product management experience
- Strong background in finance technology or financial operations
- Experience with ERP or enterprise financial systems
- Comfort reading and writing code
- Familiarity with APIs, messaging, and queueing systems
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Prior engineering or product management experience
- Experience with AP automation tools
- Experience with AR and collections tools
- Knowledge of e-invoicing and tax compliance
- Logistics or freight finance experience
- Exposure to shipment costing or carrier invoicing
- Change management experience in large finance organizations
- Experience supporting intercompany settlement workflows
