Position: Security Analyst
Compensation: $80,000 – $130,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Fully Remote, Colorado Candidates Preferred
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Security Analyst to join their team!
This is a strong opportunity for a detail-oriented security professional who enjoys protecting systems, strengthening access controls, and responding quickly to emerging threats. You’ll play a key role in supporting cybersecurity operations, improving visibility across the environment, and helping build a more secure future for the organization.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Monitor for suspicious activity and investigate potential security incidents
- Support vulnerability assessments and security audits
- Implement and maintain security protocols and controls
- Respond to phishing emails and other reported threats
- Review user access and support least-privilege practices
- Manage onboarding and offboarding access workflows
- Document incidents, findings, and remediation efforts clearly
- Recommend tools and countermeasures to improve security posture
- Collaborate with teams to embed security best practices
- Help educate employees on security awareness and safe practices
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 2-5 years of IT experience
- 1-2 years of public cloud experience
- 1-2 years in enterprise IT environments
- Strong understanding of network security concepts
- Experience responding to security incidents
- Ability to document findings with clarity and accuracy
- Familiarity with PCI-DSS or similar regulatory standards
- Knowledge of Azure public cloud environments
- Understanding of NIST and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks
- Experience building SIEM rules and alerts
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or Information Security
- CompTIA Security+ certification
- Certified Ethical Hacker certification
- Experience with endpoint security tools
- Exposure to PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting
- Knowledge of CIS security standards
- Experience with Microsoft Sentinel SIEM
- Background supporting security awareness training
