Position: Manager of Data and Integration
Compensation: $ 107000 – 128000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Kansas City, Missouri
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Manager of Data and Integration to join their team!
This is a strong opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys guiding technical teams, improving data quality, and keeping integration work moving in the right direction. You’ll oversee multiple teams supporting production, data, and integration initiatives while helping shape standards, remove roadblocks, and support business priorities.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Lead and support teams across production, data, and integration work
- Oversee project delivery, enhancements, and operational support
- Partner with PMs, BAs, QA, and developers to resolve issues
- Monitor priorities and confirm work aligns with business needs
- Drive data quality, documentation, governance, and standards
- Support API, integration, and data pipeline reliability
- Work with infrastructure and architecture teams on configuration issues
- Identify process improvements and help reduce technical debt
- Provide status updates, risks, and performance metrics to leadership
- Support budgeting, vendor coordination, and contract oversight as needed
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience leading technical teams in data or integration environments
- Working knowledge of enterprise data management and integration patterns
- Experience with APIs, ETL/ELT processes, and data quality practices
- 5–7 years of hands-on software development experience
- 2–4 years of experience with SQL Server, SSRS, and SSIS
- 2–4 years of Power BI experience
- Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience partnering with Product, QA, or Operations teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Insurance industry experience
- General knowledge of SCRUM methodology
- Experience mentoring peers or leading small initiatives
- Familiarity with Azure configuration environments
- Experience supporting cross-training and team development
- Exposure to enterprise standards and governance practices
