Position: Cloud Engineer
Compensation: $75000-95000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Kansas City, Missouri
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Cloud Engineer to join their team!
This is a strong opportunity for a cloud-focused engineer who enjoys building reliable infrastructure, improving automation, and supporting modern application delivery. In this role, you’ll help strengthen cloud operations, streamline deployments, and support a growing Azure environment through hands-on engineering and smart problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Manage and maintain Azure services, including Entra ID and networking
- Support Azure Data Factory and related cloud infrastructure
- Build infrastructure using Terraform and infrastructure as code
- Create and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
- Support application deployments across internal and external platforms
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and SLOs for Azure systems
- Respond to incidents and participate in post-incident reviews
- Maintain cloud security standards and operational documentation
- Provide Tier 3 support for production and infrastructure issues
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree, certificate, or equivalent experience
- One relevant IT certification, such as Azure or Terraform
- Two or more years of cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE experience
- Enterprise environment experience
- Experience scripting in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Hands-on knowledge of Azure cloud services
- Experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Azure Administrator certification
- Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification
- HashiCorp Terraform Associate certification
- Experience with Azure Data Factory
- Experience creating system diagrams and runbooks
- Strong automation mindset
- Experience improving reliability and reducing downtime
