Position: Enterprise Architect
Compensation: $ 146000-162000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Kansas City, Missouri
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Enterprise Architect to join their team!
This is a high-impact opportunity for a strategic architecture leader who enjoys shaping technology direction at an enterprise level. In this role, you’ll help define the roadmap, align investments with business priorities, and bring clarity to applications, data, cloud, and integration decisions. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Develop and maintain the enterprise technology strategy and roadmap
- Translate business priorities into actionable modernization plans
- Lead application portfolio management and rationalization efforts
- Document ownership, cost, lifecycle, dependencies, and risk
- Create application health and technical debt scorecards
- Establish architecture principles, standards, and reference patterns
- Review major technology investments and modernization initiatives
- Guide cloud, data, integration, and platform direction
- Support governance with practical, business-focused decision making
- Partner with technical and business teams to drive execution
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of progressive IT experience
- 5+ years in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or IT leadership
- Experience with technology roadmaps and portfolio management
- Background in modernization and technical debt reduction
- Strong knowledge of enterprise applications and cloud platforms
- Understanding of data architecture and integration patterns
- Ability to communicate clearly with executives and technical teams
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience in insurance, financial services, or regulated industries
- Familiarity with Azure cloud environments
- Knowledge of security principles and governance practices
- Experience with TOGAF or similar architecture frameworks
- Exposure to AI, automation, or analytics initiatives
- Experience with application supportability and risk assessment
