Compensation: $75,000 – $84,000 base salary, with up to 10% bonus eligibility 
Location: Lenexa, Kansas
Position: Staff Accountant

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Staff Accountant to join their team!

This opportunity is perfect for someone who thrives in a high-volume, collaborative accounting environment and is ready to take ownership of detailed financial processes. This role is open due to a retirement on the team and offers the chance to make a direct impact in a well-structured corporate accounting department. 

Responsibilities:

• Handle month-end close activities and reconcile sub-ledger accounts to the general ledger
• Perform general journal entries and respond to internal inquiries professionally
• Support external audit processes and prepare related schedules
• Work with individual branches to prepare and organize invoices

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 3+ years of accounting experience in a high-volume environment
• Demonstrated ability in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
• Enterprise level experience in a high volume environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Public accounting experience
• CPA certification
• Background in construction industry accounting
• Experience with ERP systems and ticketinig processes
