Position: Project Accountant

Compensation: $85,000 – $110,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Houston, Texas

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Manage and track project budgets effectively
• Develop financial models for cost and revenue forecasting
• Create dashboards for real-time financial visibility
• Translate financial data into clear presentations
• Analyze project performance for efficiency improvements
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Collaborate with project managers and senior leadership
• Assist in project audits and documentation
• Improve project accounting processes and systems

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 3+ years in project accounting or similar role
• Experience with project-based accounting and financial analysis
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles
• Proficiency with enterprise accounting software
• Excellent analytical and communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CIA)
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Knowledge of project management methodologies
