Position: IT Desktop Support Technician

Compensation: $ 35 – 45 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Midland, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled IT Desktop Support Technician to join their team!

Join a dynamic team as an IT Desktop Support Technician, where you’ll be the go-to expert for resolving IT issues and enhancing operational efficiency. This contract position offers the chance to work on exciting infrastructure projects and operational initiatives. Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Serve as the single IT contact for assigned site
• Support hardware and software on company desktops
• Install and troubleshoot Windows 11 and business applications
• Setup and manage MFP for network functions
• Coordinate hardware and software upgrades with IT groups
• Maintain PC and accessories inventory
• Resolve local and network-related issues
• Provide IT training to customers
• Document resolutions in IT knowledge base
• Travel 75% within a three to four-hour driving radius

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• College or technical school degree preferred
• Two or more certifications required in lieu of a degree
• Five or more years of related work experience
• Experience in PC, LAN, WAN, and Cloud-based solutions
• Ability to manage mobile devices
• Experience with ITSM software required
• Must have a clean driving record

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience in SCADA and GIS applications
• Prior experience with Gas Measurement applications
• Understanding of business strategy impact on IT
