Position: Insurance Follow Up Representative

Compensation: $20 – $28 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Insurance Follow Up Representative to join their team!

Join a dynamic team dedicated to ensuring prompt and accurate insurance payments. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development in a reputable healthcare environment. You’ll be instrumental in managing and resolving insurance claims, contributing to the financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Contact insurance companies to confirm claim receipt
• Obtain payment and estimated payment date within 90 days
• Work on correspondence weekly to resolve pending accounts
• Ensure all EDI information is accurate and updated
• Answer inquiries within 48 hours to maximize reimbursement
• Work denials from assigned Remittance Advices weekly
• Document actions taken on encounters promptly

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• One year job-related experience in revenue cycle
• Knowledge of third-party reimbursement, including Medicare and Medicaid
• Experience with Medicare online system
• Excellent customer service background
• Good investigative skills and telephone techniques

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Payer portals
• Proven organization skills
• Foundational knowledge of information systems and claims management
