Position: Senior Financial Reporting Accountant

Compensation: $ 110,000 – 115,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to join their team!

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a rapidly growing private oil and gas company. The role is perfect for a self-directed individual eager to thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to impactful projects. You will be involved in financial reporting, corporate accounting, and leveraging new tools and technology to create value. The role supports the Financial Accounting and Reporting Supervisor in maintaining financial accounting procedures and ensuring compliance with company policies and U.S. GAAP standards.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Prepare and review month-end close reports and financial statements
• Research accounting treatment for various matters
• Support acquisition and strategic transaction activities
• Analyze variances in operating results and financial position
• Assist with ad hoc reporting and trend analysis
• Oversee documentation for annual external audits
• Prepare and review G&A analysis
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Proficiency with ERP accounting systems
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Public accounting experience
• Experience with acquisitions and divestitures
• Financial reporting experience
• CPA or CPA candidate
