Position: Sr Income Tax Accountant

Compensation: $92,000 – $100,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Houston, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Sr Income Tax Accountant to join their team!

Join a dynamic tax team where you’ll play a crucial role in income tax compliance and reporting. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to optimize tax positions and reduce risk through strategic planning. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your expertise in corporate income tax and US GAAP reporting to drive process improvements and technology enablement.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Manage corporate income tax returns preparation and filing
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international tax regulations
• Assist in calculating and reviewing tax provisions
• Perform tax research on various income tax issues
• Coordinate responses to tax audits
• Prepare and review income tax provision calculations
• Collaborate with internal teams on tax-related matters
• Identify opportunities for process improvement in tax functions

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 2–5 years of corporate income tax compliance experience
• Strong knowledge of corporate income tax and US GAAP reporting
• Experience in researching income tax matters
• Ability to implement tax systems and tools

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience in tax-efficient structures and intercompany transactions
• Knowledge of available tax credits
• Experience supporting tax audits
• Understanding of tax implications of business decisions
