Position: Senior Data Engineer

Compensation: $140,000 – $160,000 

Location: Overland Park, KS

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Data Engineer to join their team!

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Mentor team members and advise on best practices
• Create and enhance data pipelines
• Automate manual processes owned by the data team
• Design and build new pipelines for data ingestion
• Collaborate on data-driven solutions with multi-disciplinary teams
• Monitor and analyze existing pipelines for improvements
• Ensure data accuracy in the data warehouse
• Respond to regulatory requests for information
• Participate in peer reviews for continuous improvement

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of relevant data engineering experience
• Technical expertise with Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience with ETL tools and concepts
• Hands-on experience with database design and data modeling
• Experience consuming event-based data through APIs or queues
• Strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience in Agile software development
• Experience with Power BI
• Detail-oriented, solid organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Team-oriented with a strong willingness to serve others
