Position: Industrial Automation Engineer

Compensation: $150,000 – $160,000

Location: Deer Park, Texas (Fully Onsite)

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Industrial Automation Engineer to join their team!

Join a dynamic team as an Industrial Automation Engineer in Deer Park, TX. This direct hire role offers the opportunity to lead and support automation/control systems for facility upgrades and lifecycle maintenance in a liquids storage terminal setting. The position has been open due to the need for strong hands-on DeltaV configuration experience. Seize the chance to work in a collaborative environment where team fit and culture are paramount.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Perform DeltaV configuration and programming
• Support automation systems across terminal operations
• Handle smaller projects internally
• Collaborate with a team of engineers
• Lead complex projects with senior-level expectations

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Strong Emerson DeltaV experience
• 6-8 years in automation, instrumentation, and process controls
• 4-year engineering degree from an accredited university
• Ability to obtain a TWIC card

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with system upgrades and version migrations
• Familiarity with safety standards like IEC 61508
• Knowledge of OT cybersecurity practices
• Experience with Wonderware and Rockwell PLCs
