Position: Senior Technical Accountant

Compensation: $140,000 – $160,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Technical Accountant to join their team!

Step into a dynamic role where you’ll be the go-to authority on complex accounting matters. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence strategic decisions, collaborate with senior leaders, and shape accounting policies in a growth-oriented environment. The role is open due to a transition from a long-term contractor, providing a chance to make a significant impact as a full-time employee.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead technical accounting for complex transactions under U.S. GAAP
• Research, interpret, and implement new accounting standards
• Act as primary liaison with external auditors
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Continuously improve accounting policies and internal controls
• Collaborate cross-functionally on high-visibility initiatives

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA required
• Big 4 or national public accounting background
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong experience in preparing SOX-compliant documentation
• Experience working directly with external auditors

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience in the oil and gas industry
• Familiarity with ERP integrations
• Experience with Oracle FCCS, Wdesk, Microsoft Copilot, Intelligize
