Position: Controller

Compensation: $170,000 – $180,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

With a direct report to the CFO, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the financial landscape, supported by a dedicated team. This position has been crafted with growth in mind, making now the perfect time to step in and make an impact!

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Supervise finance department and staff
• Manage month-end close and general ledger
• Prepare monthly consolidation and financial reporting
• Coordinate quarterly reviews and annual audits
• Develop internal accounting controls
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations
• Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts
• Oversee job cost report process
• Maintain state registrations and licenses

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ years experience as Assistant Controller or higher
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Strong familiarity with ASC 606, ASC 842
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office 365
• Self-starter with organizational skills
• Leadership skills and teamwork ability

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Big 4 CPA Audit experience
• Experience with W Energy, LeaseQuery, SmartSheets
• Knowledge of federal and state grants
