Position: Manager of Application Development

Compensation: $130,000 – $150,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Manager of Application Development to join their team!

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading organization in the retail and payment systems industry. The role involves overseeing application development teams, implementing AI-enabled delivery practices, and driving high-quality software delivery. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead a team, influence technical direction, and contribute to the company’s growth. This position has opened due to the company’s expansion and commitment to innovation.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead and mentor a team of application developers
• Drive modern AI-enabled delivery practices
• Ensure high-quality software delivery at pace
• Partner with product and business stakeholders
• Manage team performance and engineering standards
• Translate business needs into actionable delivery plans

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 8+ years of application development experience
• 2+ years leading development teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Strong command of software development patterns and practices
• Proficiency with Git-based workflows and version control
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with modern payment systems and integrations, specifically in the POS and retail space
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and automated testing
• Experience with Microsoft stack technologies
