Position: Senior Network Engineer

Compensation: $60 – 65 /hour, depending on experience

Location: North Kansas City, Missouri

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Network Engineer to join their team!

This is a strong contract opportunity to support a busy network team through critical infrastructure upgrades and ongoing projects. You’ll step into a senior-level role within a Cisco-focused environment, helping maintain and improve core routing and switching operations while contributing to future network initiatives once the upgrade work is complete.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Support and execute network infrastructure upgrades
• Configure and maintain Cisco routing and switching environments
• Maintain stable and secure network operations
• Collaborate with a small network engineering team
• Contribute to defined network projects after upgrades
• Help troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ years of network engineering experience
• Deep Cisco networking experience
• Strong background in routing and switching
• Experience with Cisco Catalyst switches and enterprise routers
• Hands on experience with routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with network infrastructure refresh projects
• Experience with large network environments
• Experience supporting upgrade-focused initiatives
