Position: Export Manager – Ocean

Compensation: $ 52000-62000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Houston, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Export Manager – Ocean to join their team!

This is a strong opportunity for a logistics professional who enjoys leading export operations, supporting customer needs, and keeping international shipments moving smoothly. You’ll play a key role in managing ocean export processes, improving service delivery, and helping grow a fast-paced procurement segment within the organization.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Oversee export correspondence, bid requests, and credit collections
• Coordinate shipping details, customs declarations, and routing requirements
• Manage import and export arrangements and related compliance needs
• Support customer service and recommend process improvements
• Lead supervisory responsibilities within established company policies
• Help drive growth within the procurement segment
• Resolve customer issues professionally and efficiently

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Administration, Finance, or Economics
• 5+ years of procurement experience
• 5+ years of supervisory or management experience
• Experience handling export and import logistics processes
• Strong communication skills across multiple levels of an organization
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience working with ocean export operations
• Background in customs or trade compliance
• Experience in a fast-paced, service-driven environment
• Ability to support process improvements and growth initiatives
• Familiarity with licensing, tariffs, and shipping restrictions
