Position: Cybersecurity Analyst

Compensation: $115,000 – $125,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Katy, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join their team!

This is a strong opportunity for a security professional who enjoys hands-on work and wants to make a measurable impact across vulnerability management, endpoint protection, cloud security, and incident response. You’ll play a key role in strengthening security controls, improving remediation processes, and supporting enterprise-wide protection efforts in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Support enterprise vulnerability management and remediation efforts
• Manage vulnerability scanning and endpoint security tools
• Analyze security risks and recommend control improvements
• Support cloud security initiatives and protection controls
• Perform application security reviews for web and mobile apps
• Assist with incident response and CSIRT activities
• Complete IT tickets related to security remediation
• Collaborate with security, compliance, and IT teams
• Present security findings and recommendations to leadership

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ years of information security experience in an enterprise environment
• Experience with vulnerability management and endpoint protection tools
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Mac, Linux/Unix, and iSeries systems
• Background in security assessments and risk analysis
• Experience with threat analysis and security incident response
• Understanding of cloud security controls across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
• Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion prevention systems
• Ability to communicate technical topics to non-technical audiences

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CCNA, or CompTIA Cloud+
• Experience with AWS or cloud security architecture
• Familiarity with identity and access management tools
• Exposure to offshore team collaboration
• Experience with application support and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of database, virtualization, and server hardware concepts
• Experience with malware prevention and antivirus solutions
