Position: Technology Product Owner

Compensation: $135,000 – $150,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Houston, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Technology Product Owner to join their team!

This is a high-impact opportunity for a technology leader who thrives at the intersection of operations, delivery, and support. In this role, you will own the health and roadmap of critical Field Operations and OT technologies, helping ensure systems remain stable, secure, and ready to support business needs. You’ll be the go-to partner for technology decisions across run and maintain, while also helping drive successful project transitions into support.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Own Field Operations and OT technology products and services.
• Manage roadmaps, lifecycle plans, and support models.
• Oversee PI, historians, and related data platforms.
• Support field measurement tools and custom OT applications.
• Define network, integration, and data requirements.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, accruals, and vendor costs.
• Track vendor performance, SLAs, renewals, and escalations.
• Support production stability, upgrades, and defect resolution.
• Approve technical readiness for project transitions.
• Partner across IT, OT, Security, and Operations teams.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in IT/OT technology.
• Hands-on experience with PI and SCADA environments.
• Experience with IT network and field connectivity.
• Background supporting measurement systems like Highwire.
• Experience with custom-built OT applications.
• Strong vendor management and escalation experience.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasts, and accruals.
• Ability to support technical requirements and operational readiness.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with DCS or PLC environments.
• Knowledge of OSIsoft PI or AVEVA PI.
• Familiarity with OT cybersecurity standards.
• Exposure to NIST or IEC 62443 frameworks.
• Experience with MES and industrial applications.
• Azure or AWS integration experience.
• Background in energy, refining, or manufacturing environments.
• Experience managing engineers, technicians, or vendors.
