• Position: Electrical CAD Technician

   

  Compensation: $25 – $28 /hour, depending on experience

   

  Location: Columbus, Ohio

   

  Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Electrical CAD Technician to join their team!

   

  This is a strong opportunity for a detail-oriented CAD professional to support electrical design work for complex utility projects. You’ll work alongside designers, engineers, and project managers to create and revise technical drawings that help keep important projects moving forward. If you enjoy hands-on drafting work, collaboration, and building your technical skills, this role offers excellent long-term growth potential.

   

  Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Create and revise electrical drawings from sketches and layouts
• Support outage sequencing planning with technical documentation
• Assist with drafting, design, and project documentation
• Follow drafting standards and ANSI practices
• Use drafting software to support multiple project needs
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers
• Help with ad hoc assignments as needed

  Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Associate degree in a CAD-related program or CAD certification
• 2+ years of drafting experience
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage documentation across multiple projects
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Legally authorized to work without sponsorship
• Minimum 3.0 GPA

  Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Revit
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical
• Background supporting utility or substation-related projects
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Interest in learning new drafting platforms and systems
