Position: D365 ERP Developer Lead

Compensation: $135000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Irving, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled D365 ERP Developer Lead to join their team!

This is a high-impact opportunity for a hands-on Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations leader to shape technical direction, guide a development team, and deliver solutions that support critical ERP and data initiatives. You’ll work across D365, integrations, SQL, and modern analytics platforms while helping drive quality, consistency, and collaboration across the team.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead development efforts across D365 Finance & Operations solutions
• Review functional designs and translate them into technical solutions
• Author technical design documents and implementation plans
• Mentor developers and reinforce coding standards
• Oversee integrations using OData, REST, and custom data entities
• Support SQL design and data architecture for reporting needs
• Collaborate with teams on Synapse, Fabric, and Power Platform initiatives
• Perform code reviews and improve solution quality
• Help manage priorities, delivery timelines, and technical risks

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 7+ years of D365 F&O or Dynamics AX development experience
• Strong hands-on X++ development expertise
• Experience writing technical design documents
• Experience reviewing functional design documents
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database design
• Experience with OData and D365 data entities
• Background supporting system integrations
• Experience leading or mentoring developers
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Understanding of D365 architecture and extensibility

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Azure Synapse or Microsoft Fabric
• Knowledge of Power Platform tools
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O certifications
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Power BI and Power Automate
• Experience in an enterprise ERP environment
• Background in Agile or Scrum delivery
