Position: Workday Security Operations Engineer

Compensation: $113,000 – $140,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (potential remote flexibility outside of Oklahoma City Metro area)

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Workday Security Operations Engineer to join their team!

This is an opportunity to join a stable organization focused on technology advancement, security, and operational excellence. The role supports Workday security administration and broader security operations initiatives, helping strengthen access governance, compliance, and automated identity processes across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Design and maintain secure Workday security architecture.
• Manage security groups, domain policies, and role-based access controls.
• Support identity lifecycle and provisioning integrations.
• Implement security controls across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise systems.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and exposures.
• Develop automated security tools, utilities, and playbooks.
• Support compliance, governance, and audit readiness efforts.
• Partner with teams to improve security processes and controls.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience with Workday security administration and architecture.
• Knowledge of security groups, domain policies, and business process security.
• Experience supporting identity governance and lifecycle integrations.
• Understanding of SSO, provisioning, and access control concepts.
• Ability to support security operations in complex environments.
• Experience with compliance, governance, or audit support.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with IAM, IGA, or PAM platforms.
• Knowledge of SAML and OAuth authentication protocols.
• Background supporting secure integrations and automation.
• Experience with vulnerability management or application security.
• Familiarity with NIST or HITRUST best practices.
• Exposure to threat hunting or incident response workflows.
• Experience with security analytics or machine learning tools.
