Position: Network Engineer

Compensation: $ 55 – 65 /hour, depending on experience

Location: San Antonio, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Network Engineer to join their team!

This is a hands-on opportunity for a seasoned network professional who can take projects from initial discovery through deployment. You’ll work closely with internal teams and customers to design, implement, and support network solutions that fit real business needs. If you enjoy being the technical lead on complex projects and making a visible impact, this role offers a strong opportunity to do exactly that.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Design network solutions based on customer requirements
• Build bills of materials and project scopes
• Support pre-sales technical discussions with internal teams
• Install and implement network infrastructure projects
• Handle upgrades and physical network deployments
• Work across routing, switching, wireless, and firewall technologies
• Serve as technical point of contact during project delivery
• Drive projects from planning through completion

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Senior-level network engineering or network architecture experience
• Experience designing and delivering network solutions
• Strong background in routing and switching
• Experience with wireless network environments
• Experience working with firewalls
• Ability to build a bill of materials
• Ability to define project scope and technical requirements
• Experience with network installs and upgrades
• Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience across multiple network vendor platforms
• Exposure to solution design in customer-facing environments
• Experience supporting end-to-end technical project delivery

Other Information:

• Contract-to-hire opportunity with a 6-month initial term
• Approximately 50% travel required across central and south Texas
• Travel may be scheduled on short notice
• Office presence required when not traveling
