Position: Cloud Engineer

Compensation: $75000-95000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Kansas City, Missouri

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Cloud Engineer to join their team!

This is a strong opportunity for a cloud-focused engineer who enjoys building reliable infrastructure, improving automation, and supporting modern application delivery. In this role, you’ll help strengthen cloud operations, streamline deployments, and support a growing Azure environment through hands-on engineering and smart problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Manage and maintain Azure services, including Entra ID and networking
• Support Azure Data Factory and related cloud infrastructure
• Build infrastructure using Terraform and infrastructure as code
• Create and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Support application deployments across internal and external platforms
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and SLOs for Azure systems
• Respond to incidents and participate in post-incident reviews
• Maintain cloud security standards and operational documentation
• Provide Tier 3 support for production and infrastructure issues

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree, certificate, or equivalent experience
• One relevant IT certification, such as Azure or Terraform
• Two or more years of cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE experience
• Enterprise environment experience
• Experience scripting in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Hands-on knowledge of Azure cloud services
• Experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Azure Administrator certification
• Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification
• HashiCorp Terraform Associate certification
• Experience with Azure Data Factory
• Experience creating system diagrams and runbooks
• Strong automation mindset
• Experience improving reliability and reducing downtime
