Compensation: $140,000 – $155,000
Location: Onsite in Katy, Texas
Position: IT Solutions Architect

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled IT Solutions Architect to join their team! This opportunity involves leading and designing end-to-end IT solutions, focusing on integrating systems within a cloud and hybrid cloud environment. This candidate will work with both business and technical teams to develop solutions that reduce reactive work and ensure the business’s IT operations are optimized. This position is open due to a growing demand for innovative IT strategies and the desire to improve overall system efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:
• Direct the identification and recommendation of appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options incorporating business and technology productivity, usability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and execute solutions that reduce the time spent on reactive work.
• Collaborate with business and technology subject matter experts to design end-to-end solutions that meet enterprise requirements while adhering to Enterprise Architecture standards and guidelines.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with business leadership to bridge the gap between IT and operations.
• Model solutions from conceptual, logical, and physical perspectives.
• Create N+1 views for the end-to-end solution, including context, data domain, logical, physical, and deployment views.
• Facilitate requirements refinement processes, with a focus on service-level requirements.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure a complete understanding of proposed architecture, factoring in all feedback.
• Participate in design reviews to ensure traceability to the proposed solution.
• Contribute to developing and refining enterprise guidelines, standards, and principles.
• Articulate architectural decisions behind solution designs.
• Work proactively with business stakeholders to ensure IT addresses both current and future requirements.
• Develop a strong understanding of company policies, procedures, and safety rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT Management or solutions architecture roles.
• Strong background in Data Integration patterns and tools.
• Experience working in a large/enterprise level retails copmany
• Experience working with a Customer Data Platform (CDP)
• Familiarity with IT architectural frameworks such as TOGAF and Zachman.
• Experience working with vendor management tools and integration with enterprise architecture tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to bridge gaps between teams.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work under pressure.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
• Experience implementing enterprise-class supply chain management systems.
• Knowledge of service-oriented architecture (SOA) or microservices design.
• Familiarity with retail COTS enterprise applications.
