Compensation: $30/hr-$45/hr

Position: Staff Accountant 

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Staff Accountant to join their team!

We are seeking two highly motivated accountants to join a dynamic and fast-paced Exploration & Production (E&P) oil and gas team. This role offers the opportunity to work on international transactions, multi-currency accounting, and financial reporting, with room for growth and increased responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices and wire requests with multiple currencies
• Perform reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing tasks
• Update exchange rate sheets and support cost analysis uploads
• Work with debits, credits, and general ledger transactions
• Ensure accuracy in multi-currency invoice processing
• Collaborate daily with team members (Assistant Controller, International Accounting Supervisor, and others)
• Utilize P2 IDEAS accounting system (experience preferred) for JIB, revenue accounting, and financial reporting *IDEAS (Integrated Data Entry and Accounting System) is a specific oil and gas accounting software developed by P2 Energy Solutions.* Any P2 system would be fine
• Utilize Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFS, Index Matching) for data analysis

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 1-5 years of accounting experience (Oil & Gas preferred, E&P is a plus)
• Strong attention to detail (especially with multi-currency transactions)
• Fast learner with strong communication skills – able to explain concepts clearly and not require repeated training
• Excel skills required (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFS, Index Matching)
• Experience in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
• Accounting or Finance degree required
• CPA is a plus
• Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
• Experience with SQL
