Compensation: 110k-130k

Location: Remote, US

Position: BI Engineer

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled BI Engineer to join their team!

The BI Engineer will work with both back-end teams and customers to create various business solutions regarding data.

Responsibilities:

• Analytics Engineering (50%)

• Design, implement, and maintain data models using dbt within a Snowflake data warehouse.

• Conduct robust data mapping, transformation, and ETL processes to support reporting and analytics needs.

• Build, test, and document pipelines and data assets following software engineering best practices.

• Business Intelligence Development

• Develop high-quality, user-friendly dashboards and data applications using Power BI.

• Design and maintain datasets, including DAX models and visuals, to support decision-making for a global audience.

• Incorporate feedback from business users to continuously enhance reporting products.

• Product Management

• Act as an internal consultant, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deeply understand their workflows, pain points, and opportunities for data-driven improvements.

• Translate business needs into data products that are intuitive, scalable, and aligned with strategic goals.

• Influence product roadmaps and KPIs by providing clear and actionable insights.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in analytics, data engineering, or BI development

• Proven experience building dashboards and designing user-facing data products

• Strong understanding of business processes and KPI development

• Solid SQL skills and experience working with data warehouses
