Compensation: $95,000–120,000
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Position: Revenue Accounting Lead
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Revenue Accounting Lead to join their team!
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to step into a leadership role, providing mentorship and oversight for a high-performing non-operated revenue team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, bringing strong analytical skills and a passion for driving process improvements. This role will focus heavily on oil and gas revenue analysis and accounting transactions, while also playing a key part in monthly close processes and cross-departmental coordination.
Responsibilities:

• Lead and support a team of revenue accountants to ensure timely and accurate completion of daily responsibilities
• Assist with the execution of month-end revenue close processes and ensure compliance throughout
• Conduct first-level review of revenue vouchers for quality assurance prior to SAP entry
• Collaborate closely with internal departments such as Production, Division Order, and Operations
• Ensure that all deadlines related to revenue distribution are met consistently
• Facilitate workflow improvements to optimize team efficiency and communication
• Tackle ad hoc projects and support strategic initiatives as needed
• Resolve complex issues through effective communication and interdepartmental coordination
• Prepare monthly reconciliations of revenue accounts when necessary

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum of five years of accounting experience
• In-depth knowledge of oil and gas revenue, production, and general accounting practices
• Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and SumIF functions

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Hands-on experience with SAP’s PRA module
• A history of implementing process improvements to drive efficiency
• Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and dynamic workflows
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
