Compensation: $34-36/hour

Position: Procurement Specialist

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Procurement Specialist to join their team! This opportunity is ideal for someone who excels in both supplier engagement and data-driven strategy. The role is evenly split between quoting and analysis—supporting inside sales with accurate, timely pricing while also utilizing Excel expertise to develop supply chain metrics, generate reports, and contribute to forecasting initiatives. With a strong focus on standardizing procurement practices, this position offers the chance to influence strategic sourcing, streamline processes across sites, and implement pricing initiatives to drive efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Support quoting by negotiating pricing and working directly with trusted suppliers
• Analyze purchasing data to inform sourcing decisions and maximize cost efficiency
• Develop supply chain reports using Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and Oracle data
• Conduct usage reviews and look-backs to determine safety stock and forecast material needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement with production goals
• Contribute to pricing strategies and standardized procurement practices across the organization
• Maintain supplier relationships to ensure high quality, timely delivery, and accurate lead times
• Drive consistent procurement processes and encourage operational excellence among buying teams
• Oversee inventory levels through JIT principles, variance analysis, and cycle counting
• Provide clear communication between departments to ensure alignment and transparency

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related area, or equivalent experience
• 5–7 years in procurement or supply chain roles with a focus on supplier performance and strategy
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, and experience with Oracle or similar systems
• Ability to analyze data trends to support procurement decisions and inventory planning
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach
• Demonstrated ability to lead standardization efforts across multiple locations
• Must pass pre-employment background, drug, and motor vehicle checks

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Background in pricing strategy or cost analysis
• Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Comfort with safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment
• Ability to work under pressure and meet fast-paced deadlines
• Proficiency in MRP systems such as JDE
