Location: Chesterfield, MO

Position: Electrical CAD Technician

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Electrical CAD Technician to join their team!

The team culture is focused on growth and advancement, with structured development programs and regular check-ins to align roles with each individual's strengths and career goals. This role is ideal for someone eager to advance into a Designer or even leadership-level responsibility over time.

Responsibilities:

• Support the development of new engineering drawings and modify existing ones based on layouts or redlines.

• Utilize ANSI standard drafting practices throughout assigned work.

• Contribute to drafting and design tasks on electrical substation projects.

• Assist on project-related or ad hoc drafting assignments as directed.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned by project leadership.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Associate’s degree in CAD or a related field, or a specialized CAD certificate.

• 0–5 years of drafting experience in a technical or engineering environment.

• Ability to learn and apply technical standards quickly.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience working on utility or substation-related projects.

• Exposure to transmission and distribution or related infrastructure industries.

• Familiarity with industry-specific software beyond basic CAD tools.
