Compensation: $28/hour – $38/hour

Position: Security Technician

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Security Technician to join their team!

This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge security projects across the U.S., including high-end installations involving facial recognition technology in environments such as hospitals. The team operates nationwide, with a strong pipeline of projects and a reputation for delivering advanced physical and IT-integrated security solutions. With over 130 technicians deployed across the country, this role offers the chance to contribute to a fast-paced, growing organization while traveling and working on innovative projects. These positions are open due to increased demand and upcoming long-term engagements.

Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain technical, physical, and IT-integrated low-voltage security systems, including required cabling
• Work on-site at client locations to implement CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems
• Follow safety standards and report incidents while working within project timelines and budgets
• Mentor junior technicians when applicable and coordinate closely with internal project managers
• Travel to project sites across the U.S. and represent the company professionally with clients

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in low-voltage or security systems installation, including Access Control, Video Surveillance, and Intrusion Detection Systems
• Hands-on knowledge of system integration, wiring, and physical installation
• Familiarity with tools like Genetec, Bosch, and Linatel, and comfort using power tools for installation tasks
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and G Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documents

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience programming and operating advanced security platforms
• Effective organizational and multi-tasking abilities
• Conflict resolution and problem-solving capabilities
• Understanding of cable infrastructure standards and practices
• Certifications related to low-voltage or security system installation
